Featured Art Exhibits:

Schlomer Haus Gallery: Iranian artist Yasi Alipour's latest exhibition titled, The Desire to Be a Corner (Listen), which showcases her unique approach to exploring systems of math, language, and history through intricately folded pieces of paper. Her artistic practice, which weaves drawing, sculpture, installation, performance, writing, and lectures, is grounded in her personal experiences as a SWANA Femme exploring the legacies and possibilities of her interrupted history and spaces of silence. Gallery will be open from 5-8 pm.

2358 Market: 'Visible', is a 40+ artist group exhibition highlighting San Francisco Bay Area queer artists and their work. Giving visibility, diversity and beauty as seen through their eyes. Opening night is June 2, during the Castro Art Walk, 5-10 pm. The exhibition will be the whole month of June. Special events will be held throughout the month to celebrate.

MAG Galleries: The closing party for Andrea Bergen’s IT’S PAPER. It has been a tremendous exhibition and ROZIHT will be performing original compositions in a “Hasta La Vista, Andrea” until Fall 2024!

Art House SF: please visit our current exhibit, “Lost Treasures” by the Nepalese artist, Tashi Gurung.  Contrary to the Western approach, some of the most central theological teachings and stories in the East were transmitted not through books and writing but through art in pictorial form. While the Holy Bible is the most-read and most translated book in the Western world, in Tibet and Buddhism, the most important concepts weren't written but painted.

Search Party:  Entropy: A lack of order or predictability; gradual decline into disorder; or Lost information of individual particles in a system that cannot be calculated. The root of the word entropy meaning “transformation”. Is there meaning or magic to find in an existence that is built on supposed randomness, on illogical conclusions, on growing chaos.  Through the process and determination to solve and answer metaphysical questions that cannot be found with thought but instead with sentience, expressed, we reach into the ephemeral driven by our inherent, undeniable human urge to evolve. How do we purposefully turn towards the insoluble to see what is profoundly real.

Art House SF: New exhibit is opening today featuring five artists. Three stunning portraits by the South African artist Tsholo “Splash” Motong seen below.

… and more!

See all of you tonight!
