As a committee, we seek to shine the spotlight on the creativity that courses through our community by organizing this incredibly special event every First Friday. The Castro, a neighborhood of freedom, acceptance, creativity, and diversity, deserves it. Castro Art Walk was revived after the pandemic by another group of neighborhood gallery owners, headed by owner of Art House SF , Max Khusid. Batons have since been passed, building upon past success as this remarkable event ignites our creative streets each month.

The 2021 Team
The art walk was organized by the Castro volunteers as well as professional artists. Our event photographer for December 2021 was Erick Davidson. Our logo was designed by Megan Totah Design. These fabulous folks are supported by Castro Merchant board member Zie Jennings and volunteer Katie Bush, who have taken on the duties for this event from Castro Art Walk Founder Angie Sticher.
