Your Guide to the CASTRO Art Walk

The July and Pride 🏳️‍🌈 edition of the Castro Art Walk is tomorrow with 12 art exhibits all across the amazing Castro Arts District in San Francisco. You don’t want to miss it!

The Castro Art Walk is 5 - 8, and some businesses stay even later.

Guided And Self-Guided Tours!

The Guided Tour with our volunteer, Sophie starts at 5pm at 2124 Market St (1st location on the map) and you’ll visit most locations with the most optimal route.

The Self-Guided Tour you can start at any of the specified locations on the map.

#1 Blackbird (2124 Market St):

Blackbird will feature the photography of Gareth Gooch, "Eye of the Beholder"

This show captures a ten-year journey through San Francisco, exploring the vibrant intersections of queer politics, performance, and community.

From the serious to the playful, these photographs celebrate the beauty and resilience of our city’s diverse scene, featuring iconic shots of performers, drag kings, drag queens, and the legendary sisters of perpetual indulgence.

#2 The Academy (2166 Market St):

Join us for the monthly Castro Art Walk as we premiere our latest exhibit featuring works by TC Moore (@tc_moore_art) and Dylan Clendenin (@deepthawtz_studios), curated by Bill Samios. This event is free and open to the public. Doors open at 5pm.

#3 Flore Dispensary (258 Noe St):

Flore Dispensary will feature Ethan Barnes Glass art design

#4 Klein Epstein Parker (2331 Market St):

Khen Brezel is a San Francisco-based visual artist whose work explores the expressive tensions between the human figure and its emotional landscapes. His practice, rooted in acrylic and mixed media, often reflects themes of vulnerability, identity, and queer existence. Through dynamic color palettes and layered brushwork, Brezel creates evocative narratives that celebrate the body as a site of both resilience and tenderness.
