Every first Thursday of the month from 6:00-9:00pm, Art Attack SF invites 6 Bay Area artists to create small-scale artwork in our gallery during the Castro Art Walk! These local artists―each working in a different medium―will be available during the event to answer questions and share their creative practice with attendees. Artwork made during the event will be available for purchase upon completion. More information is on our Facebook event page.

The Apothecarium is just one of many stops on the December 7th art walk! December's featured artist is Danyol Leon. San Francisco artist Danyol was born in 1970 in Orange County, California just a stone’s throw away from Disneyland. Growing up he nourished himself on a steady diet of pop art, cubism, punk rock and sarcasm. While using equal parts nostalgia and current events together, danyol’s pop-influenced mixed media art explores the liminal spaces between surface and emotion, gender and sexuality, and responsibility vs. reality, along with other inconsistencies in our social fabric.
Ruby’s Clay Studio & Gallery presents over 20 exhibits each year, and showcases an array of sculptural and functional ceramic work by artists using a variety of clay bodies, glazes, and firing techniques. Gallery exhibitions change about every two to four weeks, except for the annual Holiday Gift Sale, held the last 2 months of the year. Come visit the gallery, and then wander around the studio to glimpse the many facets of the ceramic process.
Meet Denny Holland and see his latest work in oil on panel featuring a modern and colorful take on California sunsets, skies, ocean, crop circles and more. Have a drink, and socialize, socialize, socialize at Norden Living! More information is on the Facebook event page.
